Deveron Arts is a contemporary arts organisation, based in the small rural market town of Huntly, in the North-East of Scotland, where the ‘town is the venue’ rather than any gallery or arts center. Here we run thematic residencies with artists from across the globe on themes that have both local as well as universal relevance. We are looking back on ten years of successful residency programmes including well known artists like Dalziel + Scullion, Roderick Buchanan or German film makers Böller und Brot with themes that include the wind farm debate, the role of sport in society or eating habits.
