Artists’ Rights and the Artwork

This year’s guest speaker will be arts lawyer and independent curator Daniel McClean who will give an overview of artists’ rights including contractual rights, copyright and moral rights of authorship, and will discuss ‘droit de suite’, freedom of expression and issues of how much control artists can have over their works once ownership in them has been transferred to others.
