Scottish Sculpture Workshop seeks volunteers
31 Aug 2010
It has been a busy year for Scottish Sculpture Workshop. After nearly three years of planning, fund-raising and development, their refurbishment work is now almost complete. They have a new roof, new heating systems, new equipment, improved accommodation… and a brand new office space from which to run it all!
The refurbished studios, workshops and offices are now nearly ready to move into – however, there are still dozens of small jobs which need to be completed around the site before they can start running again.
SSW are now looking for some volunteers who can come and help them with these jobs during the week Monday 6 September – Friday 10 September.
If you think you can spare a day or two during this week, and would like to help an established arts organisation during this exciting period of refurbishment, please get in touch with them.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided – as well as this, all volunteers will be invited to a special exhibition preview and barbecue on Friday night.
