Peacock Visual Arts: Open Call For Artists

Peacock Visual Arts would like to announce an open call for submissions from artists, collectives, curators and filmmakers.
Peacock Visual Arts is the leading contemporary visual arts organisation in Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland. It is a place that brings artists and the public together through exhibitions‚ events‚ talks, residencies‚ film screenings‚ gigs and workshops to make and present art in exciting and innovative ways.
Peacock has three main areas of activity: printmaking, video and animation and exhibitions. While they welcome proposals for all three areas, they are particularly interested in submissions that propose new screen-based art, film or animation or proposals for exhibitions for a specific slot within their programme, 14 Jan 2012 to 24 Feb 2012.
All submissions must adhere to Peacock’s artistic policy.
All entries must include the following:
- Your name & contact details
- Biography (100 words max. Additional CV is optional)
- Project description (500 words max)
- Schedule outline (Note desired date of presentation if any and any other relevant key dates)
- Preliminary budget outline
- Reason for approaching Peacock Visual Arts (e.g. How does your project relate to our vision? 150 words max)
- Visual support material (No more than 6 examples)
