Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art (GI) is pleased to announce:‘Open Glasgow’ an initiative seeking artists’ proposals for imaginative and exciting projects to take place in Glasgow during the 2012 Festival (20.04.12 – 07.05.12).

A fund of £15,000 is available to the successful project(s) to include fees and technical support.

Eligibility
Artists should be currently based in or have been educated in Scotland and should have at least 3 years professional experience. The project can take any form, from a formal exhibition to an ephemeral event or production. Students in full-time education are not eligible to apply.

Deadline
Deadline for receipt of submissions is 24th June 2011. The successful ‘Open Glasgow’ recipient(s) should be able to complete the proposed project for April 2012.
