New Public Art Commission for Wester Inch Village

26 May 2011

Wester Inch is a new “village” development on the outskirts of the town of Bathgate. The residents of Wester Inch Village in partnership with West Lothian Council Arts Services are calling for artists to apply to work with them and deliver a unique public art project.

This is an opportunity for an artist to create a series of unique works and have an in depth impact on the people and landscapes of the village.

The Budget: £90,000.00 to cover all residency, consultation, workshops, design proposals, construction/fabrication and installation of all the final pieces and is non-negotiable.

The Deadline: Monday 20 June 2011 by 5pm.

The selected artist will be expected to offer a range of art workshops to the community as part of their method of public consultation as well as all design and construction works associated with the project.
