Merchant City Public Art Projects

The Merchant City Initiative and Glasgow Life are launching a pilot programme of new public art commissions to take place in 2011.
The scheme is geared around the theme of history, place and purpose and must respond directly to the rich architectural and cultural heritage of the Merchant City.
Responses are especially invited from collaboration projects between artists, crafts people, designers and architects, urbanists or landscape professionals to relate to the strong contextual aspects of this commission.

ALL applicants are asked to submit their expressions of interest and outline proposals for any or all of the commissions to the Arts Development Officer at Glasgow Life:
