Huntly Woodlands Project seeks experienced public artist

Aberdeenshire Council wishes to appoint an experienced public artist whose practice includes a strong element of social engagement and community involvement.

Working with the community the artist will formulate a site plan to inform the planting of the new woodlands and a public art plan for
the woods of Huntly.

The artist is to have a role in linking the local community and the new woodland site involving young people and community members in the consultation for the designs for the sites. The artist will need to use innovative and interesting creative ideas in order to create a
strong involvement in this project.

Fee £5000.
