Doors Open Days

Each year, the Doors Open Days give you free access to hundreds of fascinating buildings across Scotland.
Every weekend in September you can have a behind-the-scenes peek at places that are normally closed to the public, including arts centres, theatres, schools, fire stations, churches, offices and lots more.
Doors will be open in the following areas on these weekends:
- 4th & 5th September – Ayrshire, Clackmannanshire, East Renfrewshire (Saturday only), Fife ??? West & Dunfermline (Sunday only) and Highland ??? Inverness and Nairn (Saturday only)
- 11th & 12th September – Aberdeen City (Saturday only), Angus, East Dunbartonshire (Saturday only), East Lothian (Sunday only), Falkirk, Fife ??? Central & Kirkcaldy (Sunday only), Inverclyde, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, Midlothian (Saturday only), Renfrewshire, Western Isles / Eilean Siar (Saturday only)
- 18th & 19th September – Aberdeenshire (Saturday only), Argyll and Bute (Saturday only), Dundee (Saturday only), Fife ??? East & St Andrews (Sunday only), Glasgow, Highland ??? Caithness & Sutherland (Saturday only), Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, Scottish Borders (Saturday only), Shetland, Stirling
- 25th & 26th September – Dumfries & Galloway, Edinburgh, Moray (Saturday only), Perth & Kinross
