Cultural Capital - Philanthropy and Sponsorship in the Visual Arts

A curatorial development and networking event for professionals working across visual arts practice and disciplines, cultural capital – philanthropy and sponsorship in the visual arts will offer a range of perspectives on philanthropy and sponsorship in the presentation of contemporary visual art – particularly whether such support influences exhibition and/or collecting practice.

Speakers include:

  • Candida Gertler, Director, Outset
  • Susan Christie, Inverness Old Town Art project / Centre for Health Science

  • Melanie Bono, Curator of Contemporary Art, LWL-Münster

Plus an opportunity to view a one-off screening of Neville???s audio-slide show ‘Tula Fancies’ from the Mount Stuart commission. Targeted at professionals working across visual arts practice – senior gallery staff, gallery curators, artist-curators, temporary exhibition makers, project managers and administrators.
