The Streetland team are looking for new heads on bright shoulders to help deliver Streetland 2012.

Now firmly established as a Southside favourite, the festival last year saw over 600 people joining the artists, musicians, singers and performers in and around the streets of Govanhill.

Streetland 2012 is happening over Friday 4th and Saturday 5th May 2012.

They need folks to join the team to start the festival planning November 2011 through to the festival itself, with activity being more concentrated during the months of March to early May 2012.

The delivery team tasks will include:

• marketing and communications, in both printed and online media
• liaising with participating individuals and groups
• building support within the community with local businesses and groups
• attending regular update meetings with the rest of the Streetland team
• setting up and managing festival sites over the festival weekend

The delivery group will include members of the steering group from the last two years and other previous steering group members will be on hand in an advisory, so there is lots of support.

The posts are voluntary.
