Laneway Art and City Spaces 2012 offers artists and curators, working in collaborative teams with architects, the opportunity to be involved in the thinking behind the transformation of George Street. By testing ideas that reinvent the laneways and spaces which meet George Street with temporary art projects, their next Laneway program aims to allow the City’s creative thinkers to test the possibilities of art to transform one of the city’s major streets.

The City of Sydney invites teams of artists working with architects and other creative people to submit proposals for the Laneway Art and City Spaces 2012 Program. Individual or curatorial proposals are now sought for up to four (4) temporary art projects in city laneways and spaces off George Street.
