ArtWorks Scotland is hosting two Consultation Days as part of skills research for artists working in participatory settings:

• Thursday 8th March at Creative Scotland, Edinburgh 10am – 3pm
• Thursday 15th March at Eden Court, Inverness 10am – 3pm

The Consultation Days will be used to bring together artists (across artforms), employers, Higher and Further Education institutions and cultural organisations in order to explore and discuss skills development support that currently exists for working in participatory settings in Scotland (e.g. schools, prisons, healthcare, youth settings or communities). The Consultation Days will also provide an opportunity for participants to discuss the initial findings from the research and share ideas and learning to inform future development and practice.

Spaces at each Consultation Day are limited so please book your place early to avoid disappointment. Bookings are restricted to one representative from each organisation. Freelance artists may qualify for a subsidy to cover the cost of attending the Consultation Days (includes an attendance fee and provision of travel expenses).
