Aberdeenshire Council Arts Team in partnership with Inverurie Health Development Group seek a Lead Artist specialising in film and/or animation to develop and deliver ???Opening Up???, a project which will engage marginalised groups in Inverurie and, through the use of art and creative practice, consult and reflect on barriers which they experience in relation to participation in daily activities within the community.

Ultimately, the aim is to develop and produce a short film which will be a quality artwork in its own right, but which will also be used to raise awareness of the issues within the wider community and support change to address these.

Fee £4000 (plus £2000 budget for materials). Start mid-Oct. Project duration-approx 3 months. Deadline 9 September 2010.
