Aberdeen greenspace grants

9 Jun 2011

Aberdeen Greenspace is able to offer grants for projects that meet their charitable objectives, namely:

  • To develop access
  • To increase biodiversity
  • To carry out landscape improvements
  • To provide information and interpretation

The major funder of Aberdeen Greenspace is the Landfill Communities Fund and as such all proposed projects must meet either Object D Public Amenities or Object Da Biodiversity as defined by the regulatory body ENTRUST.

Normally they grant aid up to 75% of the costs of a project and part of your contribution can be in volunteer time. You can download an Grant Application Form here.

If you have an idea for a project they are very happy to discuss it prior to it being submitted. They are also happy to help you complete the application form.
