Artists Claire Barclay, Patrick Macklin and David Bellingham have been commissioned to make new artworks at The Bridge, Easterhouse to coincide with the building???s opening.

From 5 October ??? 23 December 2007, at The Bridge, 1000 Westerhouse Road, Easterhouse, Glasgow.

The works are inspired by the new building and its local setting, while reflecting the diverse practices of contemporary artists working in Glasgow today.

Claire Barclay has made new sculptures to be placed on top of the bookshelves in the library; David Bellingham has produced printed art works to be distributed and used throughout The Bridge; and Patrick Macklin has designed the formica tabletops for the café in the centre.
