Artist Richard Demarco is holding an exhibition and series of artistic events in Aberfeldy between 13 and 28 October, hosted by The Watermill Gallery, Aberfeldy.

Demarco sees Aberfeldy as part of the journey he has made this year linking the Edinburgh Festival and the festival that celebrates Sibiu, Romania as the 2007 European City of Culture. He has been present at the Edinburgh Festival since its beginning in 1947 and from 1967-1996 was director of the official exhibitions of contemporary art.

This series of events is a rare opportunity for the people of Highland Perthshire to meet and engage with this ambassador of the art world. the programme includes an exhibition of Demarco’s work with pieces the Demarco archive of the Edinburgh Festival, as well as talks and workshops for both children and adults.
