Future Scotland Debates

28 Apr 2009

Presented by The Lighthouse and Architecture + Design Scotland in partnership with Scotland???s Urban Regeneration Companies, the Future Scotland Debates will be a platform for discussions on the future of Scotland???s built environment. With economic conditions in Scotland bringing about major changes to the construction industry, there could not be a better time to start a national discussion about the future that Scotland wants to build ??? and how we can successfully achieve it.

Each debate covers a different topic, including Public Spaces, Housing, Education, Regeneration, Health, and Sustainable Places, and speakers include well-known experts and pundits from Scotland and beyond.

This first debate focuses on Public spaces with a panel of David Page (Page/Park Architects), Eelco Hooftman (GROSS MAX) and Rory Olcayto (Architects Journal).
