Through this project five pieces of public art are now sited throughout the town centre of Elgin. The artworks are a combination of sculpture, mosiac and text paving. The development of this project illustrates the importance of communication and collaboration in the commissioning and realisation of public art.

Consultation & Commissioning Process
The commissioning process was initially managed by the applicant, Moray Council but was later managed by Public Art Commissions & Exhibitions (PACE). The intervention of the public art agency brought an experience to the project that encouraged greater communication between artists and project management.
Artists were selected by selection panel.
