Consultation & Commissioning Process
The development of the original Arts Strategy for RACH involved wide public consultation including the setting up of the Young Advisors Club (made up of a selection of young people from seven Aberdeenshire schools).
The commissioning process, and the creative processes of the artists involved the hospital community to varying degrees.
Public Art Commissions & Exhibitions (PACE) were contracted to manage the commissioning process. Artists were selected following open competition and interview.
Outcomes
- Proposals from 10 artists
- Stage 2 application for ongoing implementation of public art strategy
